I’m so incredibly proud of our HMTS performers who took part in yesterdays competition at the Tivoli![]()

Not just for what they achieved on stage, but for how they carried themselves throughout the day. Their kindness, teamwork, professionalism and support for one another was noticed and commented on, and that matters just as much as any result and is what HMTS is all about!
We had an amazing day of performances and came home with some wonderful results:
First place in all three group categories, with very high scores
Special Awards for Storytelling and Best Ensemble
Lily M winning supreme high scores again and a special award!
Many many placings throughout (all details below)
Those special awards say so much about who we are as a group. Storytelling, connection and working as one ensemble sit right at the heart of what we do, and to have that recognised means a huge amount. A massive thanks has to go to my team in but massive thank you to Amelia for creating two brilliant, memorable performances, and for the care and creativity she brings to our young people.
Our individual performances were outstanding too, across all age groups and categories, with very strong adjudication throughout the day, and a massive thanks has to go to my team Amelia and Ava for creating brilliant, memorable performances, and for the care and creativity they brings to our young people. HMTS is incredibly lucky to have such talent guiding our students. We are also lucky to have wonderful parents who came supported, helped and were very present to cheers us on!
And finally, thank you to Rachel and Carron and everyone involved at Dance: Compete: Achieve for a brilliantly run event and a really positive, welcoming day for everyone involved.
For now, we’ll take a moment to enjoy this one. The hard work, trust and togetherness showed — and it paid off.
So proud of you all ![]()
